On the next Modern Notebook, Tyler Kline shares a work by Stephanie Ann Boyd titled “Yellow Rose,” and Hilda Parades’s “crusty” harp concerto, “Demente Cuerda.”

Plus Carolyn Chen’s violin and viola duo “My Loves are in America,” which centers on the weight and grief of immigration and forced movement.

Featuring works by Gabriella Smith, Eleanor Alberga, Emma O’Halloran, Ania Vu, and others; and performances by Aperture Duo, pianist Holly Roadfeldt, Ensemble Dal Niente, and more.

That’s coming up on this week’s Modern Notebook, Sunday night from 8 to 10 on Classical WSMR 89.1 and 103.9.
