On this week’s Modern Notebook, Tyler Kline shares solo harp music by Niloufar Nourbakhsh featuring harpist Elizabeth Remy Johnson from her latest release.

And a ritualistic work for solo soprano and percussion ensemble by Baljinder Sekhon titled Twelve Virtues, which was inspired by a variety of sacred books, philosophical texts, and even dictionaries and thesauruses.

Plus: works by Paola Prestini, Erik Griswold, Jeffrey Mumford, Shuying Li, and others; and performances by pianist Inna Faliks, soprano Jamie Jordan, Latitude 49, violinist Miranda Cuckson, Four Corners Ensemble, and more.

That and more on the next Modern Notebook, Sunday night from 8 to 10 ET on Classical WSMR 89.1 and 103.9. Streaming at wsmr.org.
