As we head into the Winter season, tune into Modern Notebook with Tyler Kline for music about snowfall and stars, including a violin and piano work by Elena Langer titled “Snow;” Shuying Li’s “Canton Snowstorm,” which depicts a surreal snowstorm in the subtropical climate of southern China; and Emma O’Halloran’s “Constellations,” for voice, ensemble and electronics.
Plus: music by Baljinder Sekhon, John Adams, Alison Yun-Fei Jiang, and others; and performances by violinist Yolanda Bruno with pianist Isabelle David, Four Corners Ensemble, pianist Daniel Pesca, saxophonist Doug O’Connor with the USF Symphony Orchestra, and more.
