Coming up on this week’s Modern Notebook, Tyler Kline shares music by Ledah Finck that confronts the multitudes of crises the world faces in our current moment, called “In the Brink,” Plus, “It Feels Like a Mountain, Chasing Me,” by Daniel Bernard Roumain. It’s music for piano composed for Eunbi Kim interwoven with a conversation about her Korean immigrant parents.


Featuring works by Angélica Negrón, Dai Fujikura, Vijay Iyer, Xiaogang Ye, Annika Socolofsky, and others; and performances by Bergamot Quartet, pianist Eunbi Kim, guitarist Soichi Muraji, PUBLIQuartet, Latitude 49, and more.
